We started our Thai Taco adventure in 1999, with a small shop on Patong Beach. It began with a love of Mexican food, and it became exponentially better with the partnership and talent of a local Thai chef.  We shared a vision for a casual restaurant that would serve authentic Thai and Mexican meals. We found a great location right on Patong Beach and quickly developed a reputation for high quality food at a reasonable price. Like many other small businesses along Patong Beach, our original shop was destroyed by the 2004 tsunami. We rebuilt and were operational just five weeks later. In 2014, we relocated to our current location just a few blocks away and have grown to love our new home.

 

Thai Taco is the culmination of our passion for the freshest ingredients, transformed into delicious meals in our open style kitchen.  You get to watch as your meal is created! It’s one of the things that make Thai Taco stand out from other restaurants on the island. Our global reputation has earned us a Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor.
